This Halloween, I designed a sheet of emoji pumpkin stickers to sell in my shop.
I found a sketch I’d made last year that I hadn’t used yet.
As I still liked the idea, I decided to put it in color. I chose a posca shade of orange. For the background, I used a sheet from a Pantone notebook. I liked the color and the dotted lines. Using a colored background in my sketchbook helps me get over my fear of the blank page.
In the end, I decided to abandon the monochrome version and use different colors. I drew eight emotions and selected 6 colors.
For the final version, I worked in Illustrator and then cut the whole thing out on the Silhouette Cameo.
I’ll leave you with a montage of my various Instagram stories that cover the whole process.
See you soon!
