In Japan, July 25 is Kakigori Day.

Do you know what Kakigori is? It’s a Japanese shaved ice topped with syrup, fruit, cream, azuki beans and so on.

Last year I bought an accessory to put on my food processor so I could make it (I wrote about it here). It works very well, but I must admit I’d like to have a real machine or this cute little bear that comes in different colors. Unfortunately, I have to accept the fact that it’s far too big for my kitchen.

Isn’t this bear so cute? I put a Japanese festival stand around it.
