Hello! It’s been a while since I’ve been here. Halloween is a good opportunity to come back.

I migrated my site to a new host and had a few things to sort out before putting it online. So I haven’t been able to publish any new posts.

We celebrated Halloween yesterday with a beautiful cake I made with my Nordic Ware skull mold (you’ve probably seen it in previous years, if not have a look here, here and here).

I made a simple vanilla cake which I covered with white chocolate ganache. I then made the shadows with a brush and cocoa powder.

My daughter carved a scary pumpkin. This year our pumpkin was tiny because we were a little late buying one.

Have you decorated for Halloween?

Since Mariah Carey has given the all-clear, I’m off to prepare my Christmas program.
