Life in a nutshell #24

Here’s some news from January at Mister Lapin.

We took down the tree after the Befana, the Italian witch who brings gifts and coal to Italian children.

We ate the traditional brioche des rois. We’re not big fans of frangipane, so we prefer the brioche des rois. This one was very good, with real candied fruit.

I finished the Gameuse et son chat. It’s an adorable series mixing two subjects I love: cats and video games. I discovered it thanks to Livres et merveilles. It’s the story of a girl who loves video games and who, one day, sees a fur ball enter her life.

From time to time we go to a Chinese restaurant not far from our home, and I must admit that I always fall for the Chinese nougats for dessert. It’s even better served in a pretty bowl.

I received a lovely greeting card from my friend Jonitha a little crocheted Totoro.

I went quickly to Action because they had already put up the Easter decorations (!!!). In the end, I only snapped up one decoration because there wasn’t much.

I used one of my patterns to decorate a small notebook.

And finally, I found this great tip from Miss Paty. No more loose watercolor cups.

See you soon!
