This idea had been on my mind for a while after seeing animals with pom-poms in a vintage craft book (another one of my weaknesses as a flea market hunter…).

It’s a bit kitschy, I must admit! So I thought I’d create some little Easter animals in soft tones.
To make your animals you will need wool, the file printed on cardboard and a pair of scissors.

Cut out the animals and cut out the center.

Overlay the two sides with the printed sides on the outside.

Wrap the wool around the ring formed by the body until the hole is filled to the maximum.

Slide the point of the scissors between the two cardboard sides and cut the wool all around.

Spread the two sides slightly to slip a thread of wool and make a knot.

And here are some sweet animals.

Finally glue the two sides together. To make them stand up, it’s very simple: don’t glue the inferior legs and spread them out.

If you want more detailed pictures of how to make a pom-pom, you can find them in this post.
I hope you like it. Are you a fan of pom-poms?
For a minute of inattention, the sheep and the rabbit escaped and went to play in the garden. To see these little naughty ones, it’s here.
If you make these pom poms and share them on social media don’t forget to tag me or add #DoItWithMrLapin.
See you soon!
