Easter #2024 and Japan Party

Here’s some news from Easter and our latest trips.

Japan Party

Like last year, we went to the Japan Party. It’s a festival with lots of Japanese-inspired designers. The event is coupled with Salon Fantastique, giving us the opportunity to discover even more creators.

We saw lots of pretty booths, but with less fan art than at events like Japan Expo, for example.

I didn’t actually buy a lot of things, as we’d just come back from Japan and I’d brought back a lot of stuff. But there were some things I just couldn’t resist.

A little blue dog from @Pikimachin, a corgi butt from @bakanoe, several Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure items from @Empty Chameleon.

The biggest crush is a common favorite for all three of us: the Paulo boulanger by @molyfernix. It’s entirely hand-sewn and is a limited edition. He’s adorable with his baguette and beret. We also picked up a mini version of the baguette.

Easter

We celebrated Easter as a family.

The giant egg has illustrations by Antonio Colombi. The chocolate was very good.

I put my vintage cards in my card holder, and I made a cheese chick for the aperitif (recipe here).

I made a pompom chick and crepe paper flowers to decorate the Easter table. In fact, I’ve fallen for these pastel mini vases. I thought I’d make a few flowers to fill them.

I’ve recently added some new things to my collection of mini gadgets.

Of course, after Easter, I put my decoration back in place.

Crush

I found some cute bottles at the Japanese grocery store. As usual with this kind of drink, it’s very sweet and the taste is quite chemical, but you can imagine that I don’t buy them for their taste haha! Frankly, the duck is a bit weird, but I like it.

See you soon!
