Some time ago I decided to redraw my series of portraits of women, which I had entitled Do it like a girl!

I didn’t like the style anymore, too simple and naive. I have to say that I drew these portraits in 2018! That’s a long time ago, haha! I didn’t master Adobe Illustrator as well as I do today. I also wanted to do something more “painterly”, less geometric and simple. I started by redrawing the Williams sisters.

Here’s the 2018 version:

And the new version made with Procreate on the IPad Pro. I like the pastel/painting look of this new version.

I’m going to work on it a bit more and try out some new portraits to see if it’s a style I’ll be able to reproduce easily.
