Christmas with Mickey Mouse at Disneyland Paris

Last saturday, we took our car. We told to the Miss that we were going to the storage unit… It was not a pleasant project for a Christmas Eve, don’t you think? After twenty minutes or so, she asked : “where are we going?”. I answered : “Oh, we are going to a new shopping center.” Finally, arrived at the entry of the park, she discovered the surprise and she was more than happy!

We booked our tickets online and we received a discount for a visit before the 25st december. I was searching for informations to know what is the best time to visit Disneyland Paris and I found this one. We were surprised to see that the 24st december was a good day. We decided to try this day and we do not regret this choice. They were visitors but it was comfortable. The wait ranged from 5 to 30 minutes, except for the attractions more popular like Ratatouille. Only a little advice : the park’s app is nothing special, but it allows to know the waiting time of the attractions.

Let’s go for the visit! I prefer to tell you that there will be a lot of pictures.

We began by admiring the Christmas decorations.

Then we visited the Sleeping Beauty castle.

The miss done a ride on the beautiful horses of the Lancelot Carousel.

There are a multitude of details to see, and I could have spent hours photographing everything.

You can’t go to Disneyland without a ride on the Dumbo carousel and take of into the air.

Then, we gone to the Alice’s Curious Labyrinth. The miss liked to run everywhere. The decor is fabulous and have so many details.

Then, we embarked for the enchanting realm of Disney’s Storybook Land. We discovered charming homes and villages from classic Disney movies in miniature scale.

For a different perspective you can enjoy a ride on Casey Jr., the little circus train.

We visited the dragon’s den and it was a bit scary for our little one. It was realistic!

The “It’s a small world” cruise is so cute. We waited a little before embarking for this joyful and colourful cruise. We enjoyed the ride, but the boats move a little quickly to see everything.

Before having lunch, we took the wheel of futuristic car, as envisaged by inventors in the 1950s, and accelerate your way along a winding, picturesque route.

We chosed to take a Jedi Burger, but it was not that a big deal. The Yoda cupcake was not a cupcake but a good chocolate cake and the green cream had no taste.

Because it was right by the restaurant, we boarded the Nautilus and discovered the Captain Nemo’s submarine secrets.

We waited near 30 minutes at the Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast. We manoeuvred an XP-40 space cruiser to help Buzz stopping Zurg.

We were looking for the parade schedules when we heard “The parade will soon begin!”. What a chance! We found a slightly elevated place and we waited for the show.

Buzz Lightyear was a little scary and it was the same for Woody and Jessie!

The Miss was very happy when Santa appeared on his sledge.

After the parade, we visited the world of Aladin where we saw miniature scenes of the film.

We played the adventurers on Adventure Island and discovered the Pirate Galleon and the Pirates beach.

We also embarked for the Pirates of the Caribbean adventure and it was very funny.

To return to the entrance, we waited a quarter of an hour to take the Disneyland Railroad.

After a bit of shopping, we gone to the second Park, le Walt Disney Studios.

We visited the Ratatouille restaurant’s neighborhood. Sadly, we have not tried the attraction, because we had to wait for two hours.

I liked all of the details.

The Toy Story Playland was funny.

This one is the real Buzz!

We hailed Rex before embarked onto the back of Slinky Dog.

We climbed aboard a real magic carpet and take off on a ride above the streets of Aladdin’s land, and then, we hopped into a Cars Quatre Roues Rallye vehicules.

Finally, we boarded into a Tram for the Studio Tram Tour, behind the magic. We were finding this attraction very nil when suddenly… I will not tell you anything to let you the surprise. 😉

We got back to home tired of our long day and we have pledged to come back on a sunny day.

I hope you enjoyed the ride.
